Psalm 111:5-8 He provides food for those who fear Him;
Psalm 111:5-8
He provides food for those who fear Him; He remembers His covenant forever. He has shown His people the power of His works, in giving them the inheritance of the nations. The works of His hands are faithful and just; all His precepts are trustworthy; they are established forever and ever, to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness.
What a picture of the completeness of Your word, Lord. Faithful, just, trustworthy, everlasting, and without flaw or void. Your precepts provide the guidance for a sanctified life lived in Your Kingdom, a life without the need of man's laws and attempts to legislate a manner of living. To love You with all my mind, soul, heart and strength; and to love my neighbor as myself will lead me into a faithful and upright life.
Psalm 111:9 He sent redemption to His people;
Psalm 111:9
He sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever. Holy and awesome is His name!
Redemption, salvation, restoration, transformation; all are Your gifts to a recalcitrant and rebellious me, an undeserving me. How can I not be grateful? How can I not cry out to praise Your holy and awesome Name? You are transforming me into a member of Your family that will be pleasing in Your sight. Holy and awesome is Your Name.
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
Psalm 111:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!
This is a day of beginning, Lord, of beginning to live out of fear of You, seeking the glory of Your presence in me and with me continuously today. Lord, lead me into the practice of Your presence, lead me into that rich place where You dwell and are supreme. That will be Understanding.
Psalm 112:1,7 Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD,
Psalm 112:1,7
Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in His commandments! ... (7) He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.
Joy in the face of adversity, peace and calm in the turmoil and strife of life. "The peace of God, which passes all understanding, fills my heart and mind in You," my Lord and Master.
Psalm 112:2-8 His offspring will be mighty in the land;
Psalm 112:2-8
His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous. It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice. For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever. He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD. His heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.
How can one who is Your offspring tremble for he is mighty in the Kingdom? We who are Your family are filled with the peace, joy and righteousness in the Holy Spirit; all Your blessings flow to us as a river fills its appointed course. We look each day upon our old adversaries and shout in triumph as ones who have been lifted out of sin and death into light and life.
Psalm 112:9-10 He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor;
Psalm 112:9-10
He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor. The wicked man sees it and is angry; he gnashes his teeth and melts away; the desire of the wicked will perish!
Lord, prepare me to be Your ambassador of reconciliation, carrying the Good News of Your Kingdom to all the poor and needy. Guide me to pour freely of the Living Water to all who thirst and hunger for Your righteousness. May Your blessings flow without hindrance or impediment.
Psalm 119:124 Deal with Your servant according to Your steadfast love,
Psalm 119:124
Deal with Your servant according to Your steadfast love, and teach me Your statutes.
The amazing concept in this verse, Lord, is that You do deal with me according to your steadfast love and You do teach me Your statutes. But I am the disobedient one, I am the stubborn one, I am the one who refuses instruction. Praise You for You are the Patient One who nurtures and gently instructs the wayward son.
Psalm 113:1-9 Lord, I have been crying out to You this morning ...
Psalm 113:1-9
Lord, I have been crying out to You this morning that my life displays a paucity of spontaneous praise and thanksgiving. And You respond with this perfect jewel, a treasure of praise, and an example of Spirit driven thanksgiving. I asked for the agency of the Holy Spirit; You have responded with Your word to meditate upon and to make my own today.
Therefore, my meditation has to begin with an acknowledgment of Your goodness. You have heard my cry and met my need when I confessed that I am not capable of filling my heart with praise but need the in-working of the Holy Spirit to transform and lead me. I am filled with an overwhelming awareness of Your love and goodness. Thank You, my Lord and Master.
Help me, Lord, to take this Psalm into my heart, to fully absorb it into my being as a foundation of praise to You.

Psalm 113:4-6
The LORD is high above all nations, and His glory above the heavens! Who is like the LORD our God, Who is seated on high, Who looks far down on the heavens and the earth?
Who else but Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, seated at Your right hand, with all things under His feet. You have given Him dominion over all Creation and He is the one who holds the innermost workings of the universe in His hands.
I lift up Your holy name, my Lord and Master, You are greatly to be praised, Your mighty works and great goodness to be remember and recounted among the peoples.

Psalm 113:7-9 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap,
Psalm 113:7-9
He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people. He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the LORD!
Lord, You are the lifter of my head, taking me up from the wreckage and turmoil of my life into a place of great glory and joy. You have brought me into the company of Your princes, Your saints and given me "my boys" to pray over and to lead. You are the Mighty One, a Name that is above all other names.
Praise the Name of the Lord, You are greatly to be praised.

Psalm 114:1-2 When Israel went out from Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language,
Psalm 114:1-2
When Israel went out from Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language, Judah became His sanctuary, Israel His dominion.
You called me out of Egypt, from a place of strange beliefs and customs; You made me Your own and I am called by your name. You set before me new language and customs, to use and live as evidence that I am one of Your redeemed.
