Voices Together

Romans 15:30-31

I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,

A request from Paul for prayer support as he prepared to return to Jerusalem to minster to the church there should remind me of the many who are called today to minister to saints in hostile conditions. Yes, those who go to deepest, darkest Africa or India or Iraq or..., but I must not forget brothers and sisters who labor among the lost, the least and the lonely of this country. Or those who put their livelyhood on the line as they witness to the firmness of their determination to obey the Word of God.

I must not forget the 3500 children who were martyered yesterday and everyday for the last 43 years as a sacrifice to the God of Choice.
