The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.
Paul does not use "trustworthy" capriciously. He uses it 7-9 times, depending on translation, to indicate an accolade of dependability. Here, to indicate that the task of leadership in a congregation is a high calling, but one which must be pursued with prayer and consideration of the requirements.
