You shall fear the LORD your God. You shall serve him and hold fast to him, and by his name you shall swear. He is your praise. He is your God, who has done for you these great and terrifying things that your eyes have seen.

#3 You shall not take the name of the LORD, your God in vain.Thanking Him, praising Him, trusting Him, obeying Him, having faith in His promises, fearing Him; all are not taking His name in vain, all are giving Him the honor that is His due.
