And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

All these are empowered by the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf,

The Holy Spirit displays emotions, normal emotions as is expected from every sentient being. He has a mind, a will and expresses emotions. He is not some ghostly being that is a figment of my imagination. He comes to me in love, evaluating my condition and choosing the appropriate path to lead me into the mind of the LORD, God, the Almighty.
