Realizing the presence, promise, and power of the Kingdom of God.
Voices Together

Luke 2:25-27

Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ. And he came in the Spirit into the temple, and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the Law,

Which came first? Simeon's life of righteousness and devotion or the presence of the Holy Spirit upon him?

I am convinced that the Holy Spirit began to work on my transformation from the very moment that I committed my life to the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior and Master. There was no way I was going to become righteous and devout in my strength. A well-proven statement. That transformation, no matter how slight, is proof-positive that the Holy Spirit is at work.
