The LORD is my portion; I promise to keep your words.
I think of sitting down for supper last night and Betty placed my dinner in front of me. All plated and attractively arranged so that it appeared as inviting to eat as it actually was. So it is with You, Lord, You are my portion, all that is necessary for salvation and a life in the Kingdom. It is my obedience that is the act of consumption, the taking in of Your gift of salvation into my life to be lived out as You directed.
