Psalm 119:1-8

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the LORD! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. You have commanded us To keep Your precepts diligently. Oh, that my ways were directed To keep Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed, When I look into all Your commandments. I will praise You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments. I will keep Your statutes; Oh, do not forsake me utterly!

“All things” does not occur in this passage and “all” shows up only once. Yet this is an all things passage. What a powerful little set of three letters. For the numerical nuts among us, “all” occurs 5677 times in the NKJV. Perhaps one of the Hebrew/Greek scholars would enlighten us regarding the various words that are translated to ”all”

I must make it a habit, even a compulsion, to continuously study the Scriptures. Not just on Sunday morning during Adult SS, but daily. I need that compulsion to extend into every aspect of my life.

Today's readings in the Psalms:

Morning: Psalm 30

Mid-day: 119:49-56

Evening: Psalm 84
