Ephesians 5:18-21

And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.

"befilled with the Spirit,...giving thanks always for all things...submitting to one another in the fear of God." There is a lot packed into these three short phrases, but it is a progression. Being filled with the Spirit leads to an ability to give thanks in all circumstances and for all things. This leads to a willingness, even a joy, in submitting to one another in thte fear of God.

This is a beautiful snapshot of the Christian life. Yes there are other parts and pieces, but I see this as an expression of the aroma of the Christian life.
