God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

The writer of Hebrews presents us with two all things summations in this passage. The first, deals with His inheirantance. He is a co-equal member of the Trinity, holding all in equal regency with the God the Father and God the Holy Spirit, each with their appreciated roles, He as God the Son has His as the heir to direct and allocate the resources of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Secondly, He, through the power of His word, upholds ALL. He speaks and it is! Everything from quarks to nebula respond to His word. Nothing can withstand His command. Satan tried and look where its getting him.
