But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You Psalms 5:11-12

But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

Now here's a whoopee, a Praise the LORD, a Hallelujah, a “don't these verses sing to you” passage. The LORD, God, the Almighty revels in the praises of His People as we acknowledge His goodness to us. Look at the passages in Revelation describing the scene in the throne room. (Rev. 5:9ff, Rev. 7:9ff, eg)

Hummmm, are these two passages from Revelations prototypes of our Lord's Day worship as we gather as the Body of Christ? Our praises flowing from His people to Him?
