Psalm 139:1-6

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O LORD, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.

This Psalm is the response of David to the LORD, God, the Almighty; his acknowledgment of the LORD’s presence in his life. Could it be mine or yours? Should I read it as mine or yours? Should I read it and react on that basis? YES Should you? YES! Is that Good? YES! But the old man in me reacts in fear, not the holy fear of the LORD but that fear of the sinful man that drove Adam and Eve to hide from Him and clothe themselves in fig leaves.

Hang in with me as we set out on a fascinating ride together to explore our relationship with our LORD.

Or set your own reading schedule up in convenient groupings as fits your study habits. But a daily time in the Word of the LORD is an absolute.
