Exodus 20.1-2, 12
And God spoke all these words, saying, "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. ... "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you."
Help me to understand what it means at this stage of my life fully to comprehend this commandment and how to live within it. Give me the wisdom to teach others as they approach caring for their parents in the latter days of their lives.
