Psalm 71:17-21
O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.
Psalm 71:17-21
O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.
So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come. Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens. You who have done great things, O God, who is like you? You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again. You will increase my greatness and comfort me again.

"Proclaim Your might to another generation" Lord, I have not been faithful in proclaiming Your might to my children and grandchildren. I still suffer from that evil decision many years ago, to allow them to make their own way spiritually. Forgive me, Lord. I pray, Lord, for two things. One is that my mouth will be opened to proclaim Your might to them and the other is that they will not suffer from my sin.

Why is it so easy to speak of Your love and the great things You have done for me in the prison, but so hard to my family?
