Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. So, if they say to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out. If they say, 'Look, he is in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

There is little to be gained by expending great energy in debating the the timing and scope of the Second Coming of our LORD. It will not be as a thief in the night but will be as a bolt of lightening that reverberates off the hills in the east to the mountains in the west. I am not to get pulled in by manifestations of signs and wonders by false prophets; I am to keep my focus on the Word (Acts 17). There will be no questions, His people will know that the Groom has come for His Bride.
