"For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property. To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away.
When I have read this parable in the past my focus has been on what I have been trusted with, but never before on on who is trusting me. What an awesome burden, the LORD of the the Universe iis trusting me with His property until he returns. No, not a burden, a joy! He trusts me! And He trusts me to the extent that He knows I can handle. Even if I'm the poor tyke at the end of the line with one little pittance of a talent; He knows what my limits are and trusts me to at least return the seed money. I need to begin each day by thanking Him that He trusts me.
