Yes, Lord, I long for Your return but until then I am guided by Your Word along the King's Highway.

My tongue will sing of your word, for all your commandments are right.

Lord, I must not hold in the glories and beauties of Your Word and the completeness of Your commandments. They must fill my mouth with constant praise.

Calling on Your promises to guide me in the Way of the Kingdom. Give me wisdom and discretion regarding the application of Your precepts to every aspect of my life.

My lips will pour forth praise, for you teach me your statutes.

Your statutes, those good and perfect and righteous statutes, those precepts defining life in the Kingdom of God, a life of Shalom.  You provided a ransom for my sins, a Guide for my life and promised eternal life iin Your Presence.   Hallelujah

It is one of Your promises, Lord, that the Holy Spirit will guide me into all understanding. It has been a continuous process and will continue into the future. Hallelujah!

What a Word, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” When You are missing from my life, it is because I have stopped my ears, closed my eyes and determined to go according to my desires.

Hot indignation seizes me because of the wicked, who forsake your law.

What is causing me distress, I don't know about hot indignation, is those who claim to be in Your Church but seek You second... or third … or …. What is it, Lord, that diverts so many from putting You first in their lives? Am I included in that count?

Let Your glory be manifest to all Creation. The Day is coming where all will acknowledge that Jesus the Christ is Lord. A prayer is that today will be the Day for Judi, my children and grandchildren.

Yes, one of my weakness is a lack of living in an attitude of praise and thanksgiving. I quote Ps 149:6 frequently but live it infrequently. How can I be so callous towards the One who gives me life? Help me. Lord.

Lord, I know this day will be filled with opportunities to live in violation of Your Law, that there will be moments of lust, greed, covetousness, self-will and all other manifestations of my fallen nature. I also know, that if I am faithful to to guidance of the Holy Spirit that these temptations will be surmountable. Lord, that I will find joy in the victory, knowing that it is through the strength that You provide and the willingness to repent when I have failed.
