Each course includes a series of videos, available online, a syllabus to guide learners through the course, and supplemental reading materials appropriate to each course. Supplemental materials are available through the Ailbe Bookstore.

In his Ecclesiastical History of the English Peoplethe Venerable Bede noted that many students and scholars came to study with Irish instructors at monasteries and schools in Britain and elsewhere: “The Irish welcomed them all kindly, and without asking for payment, provided them with daily food, books, and instruction” (III.27).

In keeping with the example of our forebears, The Ailbe Seminary does not charge for any of its instruction or training. Course materials are included with the syllabus for the course which, together with any required syllabus, can be purchased through our online store.

The Laddership Curriculum

The purpose of a ladder is to help someone attain greater height. Our Laddership Curriculum is designed to train leaders who lay down their lives for those they serve, to assist them in gaining more of the presence, promise, and power of the Kingdom of Christ, and realizing more of the upward prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Courses in the Laddership Curriculum are designed around three foci: spiritual vision, spiritual disciplines, and spiritual outcomes or practices and are provided at various levels of instruction.
