Psalm 23 KJV
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

Father God, thank you for the goodness and faithfulness you show us by your daily provision and blessing. We want our lives to show our gratitude, and to bring attention to how great and wonderful and holy you are. We want to be faithful representatives of your Kingdom on earth and useful instruments for bringing your Kingdom priorities to bear all around us. Enable us, Father, to “do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly” with you (Micah 6:8 NLT).
Lord Jesus, our Good Shepherd, you guide us in living the Father’s way. When trouble comes, when we stumble, or sadness overwhelms, you are there to guide, forgive, and reassure us. In you we are nurtured moment by moment with grace and mercy. Fill us afresh with the Holy Spirit so that we will live to your praise as we look forward to our eternal dwelling in the home that is your Kingdom. Amen.
