Blessing and honor and glory and power
Revelation 5:11-14 NRSV
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels surrounding the throne and the living creatures and the elders; they numbered myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, singing with full voice:
“Worthy is the Lamb that was slaughtered to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!”
Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, singing:
“To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the elders fell down and worshiped.
Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the eternal, beloved, begotten Son of God the Father. From the foundation of the world, You have been the Lamb of God slain for the sin of those whom you lovingly created. You are the risen Savior, destroyer of the power of sin and Satan and deliverer from eternal death of all who place their faith in you. And you, my living Lord, are the triumphant, eternal King of kings and Lord of lords, reigning in glory with God the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God forever.
You are the One that we praise! You are the One we adore! You give the healing and grace our hearts always hunger for (Terry York).
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
Is He Worthy?
