“And this is yet another reason both why the world needs revival, and why revival must begin with each of us who believes. We have turned from God’s Law, even though we know Jesus commended keeping and teaching that Law as essential for living in His Kingdom. We have turned from the path that Jesus walked, foolishly convincing ourselves somehow that we have no obligation to the commandments of God. We have decided that we can define and practice love apart from a sound knowledge of God’s Law. Our failure, as followers of Christ, has encouraged the world to look in places other than God’s Law and Word for its moral and ethical values. And, having thrown off God’s Law – with the passive encouragement of lawless Christians – the peoples of the world are now in outright rebellion against Him.”
