Our readings in this series are from the book, Revived! Here is a brief excerpt from page 75:
“Meditate on the beauty of the Lord. Think of Jesus on the mount of transfiguration, throughout the book of Revelation, and in such psalms as 2, 45, 47, and 110. Let the images conveyed there fill the purview of your sanctified imagination, as you set your mind on the things that are above. Linger before the beauty of the Lord, letting the light of His glory shine in your soul, so that you confess and repent of any sins, and embrace more of what you see in Jesus. Pray that the beauty of Jesus may come through in the world with increasing clarity and brilliance. See the Kingdom that Jesus saw, and desire and rejoice in it as He did from the cross.
“Seek His path for you for this day. What work will you do? Whom will you see? What challenges or temptations do you expect? Meditate on the commandments of the Lord so that you may be able to discern that path of Jesus and to prepare for the works you must do in advancing His Kingdom and righteousness.”
