Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
This is fascinating. How many times have I, have you, read this chapter without seeing the relationship between love and all things? Love for my fellow man is the expression of all things. It bears; it believes; it hopes; it endures. But it does not trust. It anticipates transformation and growth. Love accepts 'as is' but does not see that as stasis, but as opportuniity for growth and transformation.
