1 Timothy 1:12-14 and1 Timothy 1:16 (my error)

John Nunnikhoven

Thanks for your patience, prayers and support

I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

It is demonstrated daily that who I am in Christ Jesus, my Lord, is not who I was, nor is it who I will become. He through His grace, has forgiven my deliberate stubbornness and self-will, to exhibit the grace of the LORD, God, the Almighty and the beauty of His plan to redeem His Creation.

Today's readings in the Psalms:

Morning: Psalm 94

Mid-day: 119:89-97

Evening: Psalm 20

But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.

No matter where I believe I rank in the Sinner's List, there are only two positions open. Sinner vs. Saved by Grace. I am a Saved by Grace through His perfect patience, His willingness to declare, "Not My will, but Yours, be done." (Luke 22:42) Did I try that patience? Absolutely! Will I continue? Yes! But there has been and will continue to be transformation because He has perfect patience.

Today's readings in the Psalms:

Morning: Psalm 96

Mid-day: 119:105-112

Evening: Psalm 22
