And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
First, the presence of the Holy Spirit in my heart is an irrevocable seal of acceptance into the family of the LORD, God, the Almighty. The seal is a permanent tattoo; it cannot be erased or excised. I cannot lose it, but I can tarnish it. That Seal of Acceptance is not only residing in my heart but must be beaming with laser intensity from every aspect of my life. Not there yet!
