Lord, it is a time of examen, a time to evaluate my walk with You in the light of Your Word.
Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?–unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
Lord, it is a time of examen, a time to evaluate my walk with You in the light of Your Word. I need a fierce and relentless examination of every facet of my life, testing it against Your Word and asking the Spirit for guidance in each matter. I need to start each day with an evaluation of the prior day and my expectations for the current. I need to begin each, task, each action with talk with You about what I am planning to do and asking your guidance in each matter.
