Acts 21:4

John Nunnikhoven

And having sought out the disciples, we stayed there for seven days. And through the Spirit, they were telling Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.

A most difficult passage for there is no doubt that Paul was going to Jerusalem in response to the Spirit's leading. (cf Acts 19:21, 20:22) The Spirit cannot, absolutely cannot tell me, yea and someone else, nay. However, He can use you to warn me that there is a very rocky road ahead and that I need to be firm in my resolve to be obedient.

Today's readings in the Psalms:

Morning: Psalm 98

Mid-day: 119:41-48

Evening: Psalm 24
