Did Paul have this passage in mind when he wrote Romans 7? I think he must have, for I see in here the outline of the very, very perplexing conundrum that he addresses there. Yes, I am freed from curse of sin by the grace of the LORD, God the Almighty–the door is unlocked for me to open and the process of regeneration, guided by the Holy Spirit, has begun.
