Ephesians 3:20-21 [2]

John Nunnikhoven

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Another part of the trust issue is recognizing where and how the power is applied. Yes, the source is Christ Jesus, but He is working through me, using me to accomplish incredible things for the Kingdom. I can't just sit back and wait for God to fix something I think needs His attention, He directs and empowers me to move. I need to prayerfully be seeking His guidance and capabilities to address the situation He has placed before me. I need to trust "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13(KJV) as another of those truth claims that must govern my life.

Today's readings in the Psalms:

Morning: Psalm 136

Mid-day: 119:129-136

Evening: Psalm 61
