And God spoke all these words, saying, "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. … You shall not commit adultery."
This is a serious prohibition, Lord, one which affects Your Church in insidious ways. How many are afflicted with the sin of adultery through pornography? How many of us yield to the temptation of an "innocent" flirtation? How many of Your people succumb to lust and desire? How many of us secretly dream of greener pastures, committing adultery in our minds? Send Your Holy Spirit in power to cleanse Your Church and restore our testimony to the world.
