Give ear to my words, O LORD Psalms 5:1-3

John Nunnikhoven

To the Chief Musician. With Flutes. A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.

Looks like a timing question to me. When do I pray? My day must start with meditation; it must start with an acknowledgment of the LORD, God, the Almighty's royal stature. He is King; He is God.

I will start my day in meditation, in prayer, in praise and continually throughout the day.

Psalms 118:24 This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
