“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.
"Truly, truly" is absolute assurance that I am empowered to accomplish far more than my Lord but if and only if, I will believe/trust/commit/obey, i.e., have faith in Him. Don't miss the "because" because that "because" introduces the phrase that activates the first portion of this sentence. One of the first tasks upon returning to His Father was to ask Him to send the Holy Spirit to us to guide us and lead us into everything that He taught us, vv16, 26.
