When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
I see this verse as absolute confirmation of the unity of the Godhead. The Spirit speaks as the voice of the LORD, God, the Almighty. It is the voice of God, the Father, God, the Son and God, the Holy Spirit. IT IS NOT THE VOICES OF EACH SPEAKING AFTER ARRIVING AT A COMMON CONSENSUS, IT IS THE VOICE OF THE LORD.
Betty and I consider and frequently refer to ourselves as a Us, a unique being created by our marriage. However, we are not a seamless Us. Ask friends and family who have been observers in those times when the parts of the Us beginning to display that the union is not seamless. The Trinity is seamless, truly the LORD, God the Almighty, a true Three in One. Complete and perfect harmony.
