When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. So Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe. The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”
This father was not looking for signs and wonders—he believed that Jesus had the power to heal his son. He needed no further proof—just heal my son. He trusted! He had faith! He committed!
Are my prayers for my children wishy-washy or are they the fervent prayer of a parent who knows and trusts the power of his Savior?
