Luke 8:43-4, 48

John Nunnikhoven

And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and though she had spent all her living on physicians, she could not be healed by anyone. She came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, and immediately her discharge of blood ceased. …And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.”

Did she come with a 'what have I got to lose' attitude? No! Was her thought process following a line of remembering other healing He had performed and hoping He would have compassion for her? No!

Jesus said, "Your faith has made you well" Her attitude as she reached out to touch the hem of his garment was one of knowing He could and He would. Faith!
