Mark 5:35-36

While he was still speaking, there came from the ruler's house some who said, "Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?" But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, "Do not fear, only believe."

"Do not be afraid, only believe" [KJV] Such a simple statement, but I can make it overwhelming difficult. I can add caveats, conditions, maybes and perhaps. On and on and on. But Jesus tells me to not be afraid and trust Him.

It must have been a long sad walk home for the father but the reward was the restoration of his beloved child.
