And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Lord, that Your people would truly take this to heart; first seeking to become Your disciples themselves and then being obedient to make disciples of all nations. That Your Church would seek to live lives that glorify You, forsaking those idols of the world and bringing You into the center of their lives. Help us, Lord, forgive us of our great sin, we have not turned from idols to worship the living God.
