"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
It is so much easier (satisfying?) to worry about tomorrow than to do something about today's challenges. I can scheme and plot and manipulate and…, knowing that when tomorrow becomes today, I will have a new slate of concerns to be anxious about. Wow, and the list just keeps multiplying because I have never sought the Lord's guidance about the resolution of the work He laid before me for today.
