Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf.
Trusting in my riches is akin to trusting in the legs of a warrior and the strength of horses, (Psalm 147:10) but living the righteous life of the Kingdom is the key to flourishing. But it is so difficult to not worry when the finances get a little tight or the furnace has a problem and fills the house with soot.
Is my first response to turn to the LORD in prayer or is it to begin to scheme and plan? A key indicator of a righteous life is trusting in the LORD, God, the Almighty in ALL THINGS.
