Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD.
Here's another interesting linkage; between the deliberate act of giving thought and living in trust. I cannot grow in trust unless I am practicing a regular discipline of studying the Word.
Frequently the world accuses the Christian of practicing blind faith but it is not so. Christian faith/trust/belief/commitment/obedience is based upon a deep and through consideration of the Word of God and its application to all aspects of my life. It is a recognition that the Word is coherent and that I must seek an understanding the reflects that coherency.
