With my whole heart I cry; answer me, O LORD! I will keep your statutes.
It must not be a whole heart cry or You would answer me. Are You waiting for me to come completely to my knees? Am I still reserving an autonomy, refusing to surrender that portion of self to You? Answer me, Lord, I want to keep Your statutes. I want to live according to Your Word as Your disciple and as Your Ambassador. Help me, Lord.
