Let my cry come before you, O LORD; give me understanding according to your word! Let my plea come before you; deliver me according to your word.
Draw me closer, closer to thy precious wounded side. Give me understanding, Lord, that I might walk in your way, shining in the light of your Glory. Deliver me from the attacks of the evil one, keep me from those guilt trips that he constantly throws at me. Keep me remembering that I am washed in the blood, pure in your sight, called to be your servant.
