Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.
These worthless things include all the nostrums that the world has devised to “fix” the many consequences of sin. But Your word is sure, Your word transforms and heals, Your word is the source of life and goodness, teach me to live as You live and to teach others.
