Psalm 119:102
I do not turn aside from your rules, for you have taught me.
I wish! I hunger for these statements to be true. Lord, when will I become so one with You that Your Word is my meditation all day long? I know that Your Instructions are always with me, but I don’t always listen.
I do have more understanding than all the influences of the world — when I meditate upon and consider Your testimonies. I do see the pitfalls of the age-old wisdom of the culture when measured against Your Wisdom — if I do so!
Your Rules are my guide, they place my feet securely upon Your Path, they keep me from stumbling into evil and re-offending. You are ever at my side.
