Psalm 119:136

John Nunnikhoven

My eyes shed streams of tears, because people do not keep your law.

Streams of tears, Lord, because Your people do not keep Your law! How can those who name that Name that is above all other names, deliberately and intentionally defy You? How can I? And why do I? It is because self is not dead, I am not nearly as submitted to You as I claim publicly to be. I repent, Lord, I repent, heal me and make Your face shine upon me that I may be saved. Restore me to the joy of Your salvation; that joy that comes through complete obedience to Your Word. “I am Yours, O Lord, I have heard Your voice and it told Your love for me.”
