Psalm 119:71
It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.
“Consider it pure joy, when you face trials of many kinds” O, how difficult that is to obey when I am in the throes of dealing with a test. I know in my head that it is good and that You are bringing me through a process of maturation, but my heart rebels. Help me to live in that deep seated faith that will carry me through the trial. Perfect love for You in me to drive out the fear so that I will live in total obedience to Your word.
