A Song of Ascents. In my distress I called to the LORD, and he answered me. Deliver me, O LORD, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.
Lord, give me the gift of discernment. That I would be able to see through the deceit and exaggeration that I am frequently exposed to both in the prisons and even among those who claim Your Name in the churches. And with that gift, Lord, the gift of wisdom to enable me to respond in ways that bring You glory.
