A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore.
This picture, Lord, of Mount Zion which cannot be moved and surrounded by rock solid mountains, is a picture of totally impregnable protection. How You surround your people! How You cover Your people! You are our shield and protector. May we never forget.
