Psalm 130:5-6

John Nunnikhoven

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning

“waits for the Lord” Oh, how difficult that can be at times, to wait for You. How can I wait when my very soul cries in anguish for an answer to prayer, when the anxiety for a resolution to a problem whips me without relief? Only by rejoicing always, praying without ceasing and giving thanks to You in all circumstances. Remind me, Holy Spirit!
