Lord, help us to focus completely and totally on the goal of the prison ministry—that we are called to minister to hurting souls, bringing them the Good News; we are not called to aggrandize ourselves, to seek out those who tell us what a wonderful thing we are doing. We are called to love the unlovable and serve the unserved by bringing them to a relationship with You.
